Bass Pro Shop
Would you like to sketch a fox, deer, largemouth bass, or a bear? You will have the opportunity at this March 2, sketch crawl. Freshwater and saltwater fish, birds, and North American wild animal taxidermy displays are scattered throughout the store. There is a huge wall of windows upstairs overlooking the large pond. This area will give you an aerial view of the floor plan displays to scope out where to sketch. This will also be the area we meet up.
The store opens at 10:00am. We will meet briefly on the second level by the huge window area to check in for a head count for lunch plans. We will have a ‘throw down’ to share our work and trade The Artist Trading Cards at 12:00. *Location for this to be determined according to weather and group size! We hope you can join us for lunch in the cafe.
The store has several programs planned for this day. At 12:00 they will have a
tank with live fish for a children’s fishing activity. At 1:30 there is a fishing program for women. So if you bring your spouse, kids or grandkids, you may want to check out the activities!
