I painted an oil portrait from a wonderful photograph a friend showed me. The oil painting eventually was received by the subject. He recently commissioned me to paint a portrait of his wife. This is a gorgeous photograph, and I’m excited to start painting tomorrow. The sketches are done and I transferred my favorite to the canvas today.
He delivered his painting so I could consider size and format because they will be hung together.
